Wadelows Nature Reserve

Wadelows Nature Reserve

If you haven’t already visited the beautiful nature reserve at the back of the garden centre, then it really is the perfect place to visit this spring. This reserve sits on the site of a medieval manor called Wadelows – hence the unusual name. This wonderful reserve contains meadowland, hedgerows, a river, grass and wet lands, deciduous trees and a pond. If you would like to visit the reserve, then please go to our main information desk where you will need to sign in and be given a key to access Wadelows through the Plant area. At the end of your visit, the key must be handed back and you must sign out. Wadelows can be visited during the garden centre opening times but all visitors must have vacated the reserve by 5pm (4.00pm on Sundays). Visitors to Wadelows are welcome to bring their own picnics however it is imperative that all rubbish is collected and taken away. BBQs are not permitted and unfortunately because of the local wild life, dogs are not allowed.
